Our first project was at the Primary school at Olooliamutia village near the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, Kenya. This school is a six- hour journey across the plains of Kenya from the capital, Nairobi.

The school was extended and new class- rooms were added: solar electrification for the entire school was installed: new computers and an overhead projector were added to the capabilities of the school.

The teachers were trained how to use the new equipment and the school is now one of the few rural primary schools in Kenya to have electric power and the only primary school with computers in the area.

The new extended and equipped school now allows the children to avail of school during the day and night. The older children, who herd cows and goats by day, now attend school at night, while the younger ones attend by day. A transformation for this community!
