Hello everyone.
Recently we have had a special request from many people from all over the world asking a simple direct question. The question was asked in French, German, Portuguese, Russian, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Polish, Italian, Afrikaans, Spanish, Hebrew, Japanese, Arabic, Swahili, Finnish, Bulgarian, Chinese, Korean, Greek, Dutch, Hungarian, Bosnian, Maa, and last but not least, in UK English, American English, Australian English, New Zealand English, Irish English and Canadian English.
The request came from many of the overwhelming amount of visitors to our website in recent months, at the last count people have visited us from 140 different countries. It is trulymagnificent and it is truly global.
The Question that was asked of us was: “How can we help?”
One effective way to support the work in Africa is to establish a Build African Schools group (BAS) at your place of work, school, university, or community. Below is a list of different projects, which your BAS group can sponsor. Currently a number of schools and universities have already formed BAS groups and are sponsoring projects to raise funds to install clean water, another is sponsoring a solar power project, and yet another is raising funds to build a single classroom.
Should you decide to create a BAS group we can support your activities by sending you photographs of the children, their school, village and other materials. In some cases we can support your activities by visiting with you and showing our interactive presentation of photos, text and our film with fantastic color, music and dance.
Here are some projects that your BAC group may consider sponsoring
Build one school - $48,000
Build one class room - $6,000
Teachers’ accommodation room - $6,000
Install Solar Power in a school - $7,000
Build bathrooms for boys and girls - $4,000
Build a kitchen - $3,000
Laptop computer - $1,000
Desks/chairs - $1,000
School supplies - $500
Fee for one year tuition for one child - $150
If you would like to help please go to our contact information on our website and take it from there!
Thank you all so much for your interest in what we are doing in Africa, it was a pleasure communicating this information to you
